Senior Sales Executive - New York City

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with medium to large businesses for Veroxity's SONET, Ethernet, Private Line Data Products and Internet Access Services

  • Consult and advise customer prospects on Veroxity's products and services

  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and technical solutions to prospective customers

  • Qualify, scope and solicit orders from prospective customers

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas

  • Provide management with monthly sales forecasts based on sales lead opportunities

  • Manage established accounts, maintaining relationships and pursuing additional opportunities for add-on services

Qualification Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous high-tech sales experience with a leading VAR or consulting company selling hardware and/or Network Consulting services

  • Met or exceeded monthly sales quotas selling network communication services

  • Knowledge of data communications, network infrastructure and telecom industry

  • Must maintain a qualified network of accounts/contacts previously sold into and capable of reselling Veroxity's products and services

  • Effective prospecting, cold calling, cold canvassing and presentation skills 

  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter, requiring minimal supervision with entrepreneurial spirit and desire for career growth

Inside Sales Representative - Boston & New York City

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cold calling on new accounts

  • Qualifying opportunities and generating new sales leads

  • Scheduling appointments for Veroxity Sales Executives with new prospects

Senior Network Engineer - Boston

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain global wide area networks for enterprise customers.

  • Maintain and optimize OSPF routing protocols across global networks.

  • Assist with the implementation of Internet connectivity services at different locations and the provisioning of high capacity circuits.

  • Utilize various network security and analysis tools including TCPDUMP, SnifferPro, Nmap, and Checkpoint Firewalls.

  • Design and support large customer networks for high speed Internet connectivity and VPN applications. 

  • Allocate IP address space for internal and external usage.

  • Serve as a Level 3 escalation resource to resolve complex routing, switching and security issues.

Qualification Requirements

  • Vast network design experience with Enterprise and Carrier Class products such as Cisco BPX/MGX ATM Switches, Cisco 12000(GSR)/7500/7200 Series Routers, Cisco Catalyst 6500/5000 Ethernet Switches and Nortel Passport 8500 Layer 3 Switches in large environments.

  • Expert understanding of IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) in large enterprise and carrier network environments. Vast experience with Layer 3 routing switches in data center environments.

  • Experience engineering carrier access solutions including advanced ATM, SONET, IP over ATM, Packet Over SONET and various DS3 to DS1 central office DACS and multiplexing technologies.

  • Strong network management skills and remote troubleshooting of IP, SONET and ATM networks. 

  • Experience remotely troubleshooting advanced networks utilizing tools such as SnifferPro, HP OpenView, and Cisco Works.

  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining various advanced VPN and Firewall solutions

Sales Engineer - Boston

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pre and post sales technical support to sales account team throughout sales cycle.

  • Identify and understand customer technical, application and network requirements

  • Communicate customer requirements to other cross-functional technical teams.

  • Architect and design a metro, regional or global network solution that meets customer requirements.

  • Communicate and present to customers Veroxity technical solutions and Next-Gen technology

  • Attend customer appointments and/or participate in customer technical conference calls.


Qualification Requirements

  • 3-5 years Sales Engineering support or Technical Consulting experience for a network consulting company, VAR or telecommunications company.

  • Knowledge of Data Networking comprised of Internet/ IP, VPN (MPLS and IPSEC), DWDM, Optical Networking, Wave Services, Frame Relay, Ethernet and Next-Gen services.

  • Communications/ transport protocol knowledge.

  • Remote Access knowledge.

  • Thorough knowledge of Router Based Networks and TCP/IP.

  • Time Management Skills - Ability to multi task and meet multiple timelines.

  • Strong oral, technical, presentation, and leadership skills are a must.

  • Must employ consultative approach to providing customer solutions and network designs.

  • Must demonstrate experience in designing large, global networks with multiple services.

  • Knowledge of PC based applications to include Visio and PowerPoint.

Technical Project Manager - Boston

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, manage customer fiber builds, installs, and guide projects to completion.

  • Communicate customer requirements to other cross-functional technical teams to achieve project results.

  • Manage activities to ensure that the customer's initiatives are delivered on time and within specifications.
  • Provide daily/weekly oversight of technical tasks at the customer's request.

  • Coordinate the activities of internal and external resources to maintain project timelines, and engage the organization in problem resolution when necessary.

  • Communicate project status to both the customer and internal technical resources.

  • Provide recommendations regarding cost estimates, schedules, implementation issues, and changes to the project plan as appropriate.

  • Attend customer appointments and/or participate in customer project plan/update conference calls.


Qualification Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals including requirement definition, resource scheduling, risk mitigation and change management.

  • Time management skills - Ability to multi task and meet multiple timelines.

  • Strong negotiation skills - Ability to negotiate with vendors and properly set/manage customer expectations.

  • Strong oral, technical, presentation, and leadership skills are a must.

  • Familiarity with Data/IP network services such as Frame Relay, Ethernet, DWDM, IP, Optical preferred.

  • Must be goal oriented with the ability to drive vendors and technical resources to project completion.

  • Must demonstrate experience in managing multiple vendors, resources, to deliver time-sensitive projects.

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office products to include MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel and Visio.
