SONET RING SERVICES

Veroxity SONET Ring Service (SRS) is a custom built SONET Ring architecture designed to meet customer requirements for network reliability and survivability for high capacity services at multiple customer-designated locations. Veroxity SRS is designed to eliminate any single point of failure to ensure a near continuous flow of information between locations by a single or multiple fiber ring network(s). VEROXITY SRS will immediately detect service affecting problems (e.g. cable cuts, high error rates, equipment failure) and reconfigure service on the SONET Service network.

Standard Interfaces:

Customer connections to the nodes on the ring(s) are provided over standard DS1, DS3, EC-1, OC-3, OC-12 and 100 Mbps (TX) or Gigabit Ethernet (SX) Interfaces. The interface at the customer premises will conform to standard ANSI or IEEE interface specifications.

Ring Bandwidth/Capacity:

VEROXITY will provision service up to the available capacity on the particular span of the Managed SONET Ring Service in standard STS or VT1.5 increments. Provisioning of STS and VT1.5 circuits may span any combination of SONET rings provided in the overall Managed SONET Ring Service. Additional charges may apply for VT1.5 circuit mappings.
